it cracks me up when people talk about how hard it is to go anywhere with a kid when they really mean how hard it is to go anywhere with the metric fuckton of unneccessary paraphernalia they feel the ned to haul around along with their offspring.

Yeah. I never bother bringing toys, for example, because it's never the right toy and he'd rather play with a drinking straw or a cellphone or something that's not a toy.
