When I said goodbye to Oliver this morning, I thought: for the rest of today, I won't be able to hold him until I get home. Sometimes I wish I had more time with him, which makes me appreciate the weekends more.
I was over at my parents' the other day, and Eva's been a bit under the weather, so to cheer her up, I was giving her races down the hall on her push trolley (meaning she has now learned the word, "go!"). I then went off to my abode, and as I said I had to go, Eva looked very crestfallen and then toddled over to me and hugged my legs. I picked her up and we had a big hug.

I immediately missed this.
