Enlarged vocabulary
Oliver no longer says 'Yes' - it's always 'Oh yeah!'
He has a preposition, 'foo', that can be either 'for' or 'from':
'That's foo Mommy' (pointing to something belonging to Mimi)
'Foo Sophie' (pointing to a book received as a gift)
Some new neighbours down the street were demolishing their porch and showed Oliver and me an old wasps' nest. I made the mistake of comparing the honeycomb part to a waffle and when a piece of it fell to the ground, Oliver began clamouring to get the 'waaffwwwwe!'
This morning he pretended to sit on the potty, then stood up, closed the lid and said 'Bye-bye alligator!'.
Stop or I'll cough again!
