Name game
Some time ago, I called Oliver 'Ollington Bear' because he looked a little like Paddington Bear in his yellow raincoat. Mimi later upgraded that to 'Sir Ollington Bear'.
He seems to have decided lately that he likes the name:
'Sir Ollington Bear has a wet diaper'.
(pointing)'My mommy and pappy'
What's your name?
'Sir Ollington Bear. Not Oliver'. (pause) 'Give me money?'

Vision
'The streetcar has glasses!'
(I think he's referring to the split windshield)
Oliver has noticed that the animals in his books, when shown in profile, appear to have only one eye. When I tried to explain a picture of a cat with one eye open and one closed, he countered with 'THE CAT DOES NOT HAVE EYES!'

At the park
On a ladder
'I wanna climb like a monkey. I'm gonna climb it my monkey self'.
After hugging his ten-month-old neighbour, Oliver turns to his parents, tilts his head and asks:
'Should we take a picture?'

The quotable Oliver
On the way to the swimming pool
'Hey, red car! What are you doing in the street?'
After swimming
'That man is changing his bum.'
Outside the arena
Oliver: The Zamboni is going back in the garage.
Dad: Yeah, back to the ice rink.
Oliver: The ice cream garage.
